FAQ

As a TAWS member, you have access to our daily calendar of live writing retreats, weekly reset planning sessions, and targeted workshops (TAWS sessions) designed to enhance your process, workflow, and skills. Starter Memberships include 4 live coworking sessions per month. All full access memberships include unlimited access to live coworking sessions. You also have access to our growing library of pre-recorded writing retreats, reset planning sessions, and workshops that are available 24/7.

During our 2-hour coworking sessions (also called writing retreats), TAWS members and a professional facilitator gather on Zoom for structured coworking time. The facilitator will guide the session with a theme and a 10-minute supportive talk. Each retreat includes two independent 45-minute work sessions with a 10-minute check-in group discussion between sessions and a 10-minute debrief at the end.

The Academic Writers’ Space is designed for graduate students, researchers, post-docs, and professors working on research and writing. Our sessions are facilitated by professional, experienced writing coaches who are doctoral degree holders. Read more about our facilitators here.
